Tyler Wentz Memorial Scholarship Information for Godwin High School

Mission Statement: The Tyler Wentz Memorial Scholarship Fund was created to provide financial support for higher learning to a student at Godwin High School who has demonstrated exceptional kindness, outstanding attitude and character, strong community involvement, positivity, and great Godwin spirit.
Source of Funds: All funds are provided by The Tyler Wentz Memorial Fund.
Disbursement of Funds:: Scholarship funds will be payable to the student's college/higher learning institution.
Selection Process: You must be nominated by a student or teacher. All nominations will be turned into and reviewed for academic eligibility and drug/alcohol infractions by the counseling department and they will provide you the application. Scholarships will be awarded based on the review of applications by a committee of teachers and The Wentz Family.
Award Notification: Recipients will be announced at the Senior Awards Assembly at Godwin High School
Selection Criteria: Applicants must be
- a current senior at Godwin High School
- teacher or student nominated
- no drug/alcohol infractions at school
- must be passing all classes
- all Henrico County School Community Service Program hours must be met
- be nominated by teacher or Godwin student
Submission Requirements: Completed applications must be turned in to Amy Gravely in
4:15 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018.
